Post: Trust Clerk and PA to the CEO
Hours: 37 hrs per week term time only + 10 days as required
Salary: Grade 7, scp 20 – 24, £22,484 - £24,804 actual salary pa, pay award pending
Start Date: 7 September 2020
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Mainly based at Horizon Head Office, but will be required to travel to all schools across the Trust
Horizon Academy Trust comprises of Biggin Hill Primary School, Cleeve Primary School, Spring Cottage Primary School, Thanet Primary School, Gillshill Primary School and Cavendish Primary School
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual to join our forward-thinking organisation. Under the direction of the CEO the successful applicant will assist the Trust with their responsibilities in relation to governance ensuring compliance in all areas. They will also provide the CEO with an efficient and responsive admin support service.
The role involves a high level of confidentiality and the ability to remain impartial. Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to deal appropriately with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will involve:
- Providing an efficient clerking service for the Trust.
- Using knowledge of the law to provide support and advice to the Trust on governance legislation and procedural matters to ensure compliance.
- Working to deadlines: preparing and distributing agendas and supporting papers within statutory time frames.
- Managing the day to day organisation of the CEO’s office to support the effective running of the Trust.
- Developing excellent administrative practices to support the smooth operation of the Trust.
