Horizon Academy Trust is a primary-only academy chain and accredited sponsor. The Trust was created to facilitate a strong working partnership between schools with a clear focus on achieving excellent standards for all of its pupils.
At Horizon we strive to improve outcomes for young people within our unique location, which covers coastal, rural and urban schools.
Horizon School Direct is led by Horizon Academy Trust, in partnership with Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training (YWTT). Horizon offers school-led teacher training and the award of PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for trainee teachers, accredited by Sheffield Hallam University. Trainees experience placements in a wide range of school-based settings working with outstanding practitioners.
